Market sessions — when does the market actually move?
The market doesn't move with the same force all day. The moment two major sessions overlap, volume and liquidity jump. This is a live oscillator showing the state of the market right now — all times in your own time zone (change it from the clock button at the top).

Why does timing matter?
The same pair can be dead in one session and fly in another. Knowing which session is running shows when moves are clearer and liquidity is higher.
Why do overlaps matter?
When two sessions run together the number of active traders doubles — liquidity rises, spreads tighten, and moves get stronger and faster.
What about daylight saving?
Each session is computed from its own market's local clock and converted to your time zone on the fly — so the hours re-align themselves through every DST switch, here and there, all year round.
